Interested by the development of pathological repetitive behaviours, I have started to study compulsions in OCD patients, and continued right after to investigate the neural basis of these behaviours on an animal model.

In the light of one of the current hypotheses that compulsions emerge as maladaptive habits, my PhD project focuses on understanding how, on a biological level, habits are formed.
